BUGGER OFF MARTIN SALTER

According to Martin (left of Gandhi) Salter and the Bullshitters Broadcasting Corporation, it’s traditional for there to be mass ‘rioting on the Sunday night of Reading Festival’ (Roger Johnson, BBC South Today – Friday 25.09.2009). Having been to the festival on numerous occasions and lived in Reading for longer than I care to remember, how come I haven’t heard of this tradition? Because it’s a load of bollocks, that’s why.

Salter, always one for a centimetre of newspaper column or a minute on BBC South met with other like minded Daily Mail reading knobs yesterday to discuss this annual rioting in order to work out how it can be prevented in the future – that must have been a brief meeting - then again being benefit cheats (politicians in general) I'm sure that the attendees had a lovely lunch.

So when does a big bonfire become a riot? Clearly in Gandhi's opinion it’s when young people are involved. Strange that Thames Valley Police released a statement after this years event saying that it had been a good festival with below average incidents. This is typical Labour – big on bollocks, big on talking bollocks.

Roger Johnson and Martin (left of Gandhi) Salter have exaggerated an incident to the point of lying. Johnson can be forgiven because he’s a shit presenter capable of nothing more than reading a script written by monkies (apologies to monkies) but Salter should have done a bit of research before slagging off his home town.

The rioting Mr Salter so boldly strives to stop was in Leeds; Reading’s twin festival. In Reading a couple of tents were thrown into a fire, not good, a little fence was pulled down, not good but it certainly was not a riot. The sooner Salter buggers off the better; we really don’t need a born again, angling Jesus type slagging off our town thank you very much.
