The part of the show which I’d regretfully allowed to enter my life featured a woman who’s heroin addicted prostitute daughter had been murdered by a customer. This item neatly dovetailed into another on some old bloke who’d learned ballet at the age of one hundred and fifty with no-one having the courtesy to say “Bert – you look stupid and you’re embarrassing yourself and all the viewers”.
When the aforementioned ground breaking entertainment was over, they only threw in clothes for cats – with Jonathan Wosse’s brother Nick or Chris plumping for the ‘Take That’ kitty cap at which point I was unable to focus.
Who is ‘Good Morning’ aimed at? I assume it’s targeted at less than average intelligence old people, single parents smoking twenty B and H, people who appear shallow and are, people on benefits, drug addicts, people on long term disability allowance, shift workers with nothing else to do, people in waiting rooms with much better things to do, people with a day off who should be getting on with something else, old folks in nursing homes dumped by their relatives, people with SAD, people with ME, people who are LBs, widows and widowers before they go out to bowls, people in prison regardless of guilt, people in comas left with something on in the background, widows and widowers with no bowls to go to and teachers. Clearly people who do not watch ‘Good Morning’ will not find this even slightly condescending.
