Bosses at Reading Borough Councils Readibus service, set up to supposedly help old aged and people with mobility problems were allegedly delighted on Wednesday upon receipt of a letter from Mrs Liz Cheyney resigning from the organisation following the article in the Reading Evening Post.
Mrs Cheyney, herself a sprightly 68 year old was used by the Evening Post to fill six inches of its local comic to express concerns over the loss of a pedestrian crossing and the movement of the bus stop for buses travelling to Caversham from outside of Sainsbury’s in Friar Street as part of the bus re-routing cock up last month.
Unfortunately and possibly naively, Mrs Cheyney didn’t appreciate that Reading Borough Council, Reading Transport and Readibus are all one and the same left wing organisation which like all insecure, bad despotic regimes across the planet tolerates no criticism by its servants, hence their delight at the removal of a whistle blower.
Shame on you Readibus and Reading Borough Council – you’re a bunch of up your own arse jobsworths caring for nothing other than your own interests rather than the immobile that you pretend to care for.
As regards to the Evening Post – don’t you owe at least some kind of follow up to Mrs Cheyney’s original concerns?
Following Wokingham’s stealth tax attempt with their proposed skinny mini sack monopoly and RBC’s own green waste stealth tax, Reading Borough Council is trying on another under the counter charge in the form of visitor parking permits at £2.00 per half day (£4.00 per day).
Compared with last year when the permits were £1.20 per full day, that’s a 234% price increase which is outrageous but unfortunately typical of the fascist RBC.
‘Reading Borough Council’s Standards Committee’ – now there’s an oxymoron if I’ve ever heard one.
A Reading Borough Council committee no doubt run by over paid people full of their own self importance with their heads up their arse created to ask people to stop writing nasty thing about Reading Borough Council.
Congratulations to Warren Swaine and Richard Willis for having fallen foul of this committee via their personal blogs – I salute you.
If Reading Borough Council entered a World’s Biggest Losers competition, they’d come last. Incompetence is their default position in social care, waste management, traffic management and public transport.
With the average salary across the UK being around £24k, no-one working for a Council (exceptions for healthcare and educational professionals granted) should be earning much more than this, certainly no-one at RBC.
Approximately eighty three employees of Reading Borough Council get paid (as opposed to earn) in excess of £50,000 per year (2009) with five of those getting paid over £100,000 per annum (2009).
Richard Willis has more information here.
Despite having been ‘outed’ by the Reading Chronicle for using the wrong legislation to get more money out of it’s residents cunningly misdirected into unsigned bus lanes in the town, Reading Borough Council is still doing it and they’re now increasing the fines. As a left fascist movement, Reading Borough Council demonstrates it’s leaning toward bullying and harassment admirably – change the government and remove the despotic empire builders at the helm of RBC who have clearly forgotten that they’re merely servants to their paymasters – the people that they’re so enthusiastically penalising.
Britain, a nation that proudly rewards our unfortunate, our unsuccessful, our claimants, our clinically apathetic, our physically inactive and those not honourably employed is looking into the idea of an amnesty to reward all ‘not legally legal’ immigrants for having successfully outmanoeuvred the authorities and avoided paying tax throughout their stay in Great Britain.
Supporters of the citizenship ‘Friendship Giveaway’ claim that if these workers remain ‘underground’ and ‘off the local authority’s radar’ they would undoubtedly miss out on benefits available which is a false economy and an amnesty would enable the people to get work where they would pay tax.
Britain must vote yes to the amnesty and stand proud and shout to the World “give us your poor, your needy and your outcasts – we’ll say when we’ve got enough”

WELL DONE PIERRE
A big thank you to Pierre, Jean Paul, Luc and Marco, the four Froggie fishermen for starving Britain of goods over the last few days - that's not 'French' at all is it?
