EVEREST
Tesco has announced the opening of its third store on the summit of Mount Everest today to commemorate the first climb by some kiwi and an oriental looking bloke years ago.
The company admitted that the battle for positioning on the summit with KFC had cost more than anticipated and that it was disappointed to be so close to the Poundland store however sales projections suggested that the store would still achieve a footfall rivalling its Chelsea branch.
The decision to open the third Tesco on the summit followed a successful 2010 trading period during which the company opened its first key cutting franchise on the mountain in their Express store opened in 2008.
Details pertaining to the tender to operate a wheelie bin service on the summit are due to appear in the Nepalese version of OJEU next month.

Tesco have announced that the Metro store will be selling the new range of Compeed plasters as from Monday 10th June 2013 following recent customer feedback.
This is great news - I'm going to Everest next year.
