SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE (BLEACH)
Very hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant), of eye contact (irritant).
Hazardous in case of skin contact (corrosive), of eye contact (corrosive).
Slightly hazardous in case of inhalation (lung sensitizer).
Liquid or spray mist may produce tissue damage particularly on mucous membranes of eyes, mouth and respiratory tract.
Skin contact may produce burns. Inhalation of the spray mist may produce severe irritation of respiratory tract, characterized by coughing, choking, or shortness of breath.
Prolonged exposure may result in skin burns and ulcerations.
Over-exposure by inhalation may cause respiratory irritation. Inflammation of the eye is characterized by redness, watering, and itching.
Skin inflammation is characterized by itching, scaling, reddening, or, occasionally, blistering.
As you can see, sodium hypochlorite or ‘bleach’ can be extremely hazardous to health. So what should you do if you have some bleach in Wokingham?
What can I put my rubbish in and how can I prevent animals ripping the bags?
• Refuse sacks. A diluted solution of bleach sprayed over the bag can act as a deterrent to stop animals ripping open the bags

A big thank you to Pierre, Jean Paul, Luc and Marco, the four Froggie fishermen for starving Britain of goods over the last few days - that's not 'French' at all is it?
