Since he went missing on the evening of 15th December 1944, there have been many ideas as to what happened to Glenn Miller. Now, that doubt has come to an end.

It has now been categorically proved that Glenn Miller was bombed by the RAF over the English Channel by English bomber crews returning from an aborted raid on the Nazis (not allowed to call them Germans anymore as we're now friends with them) as they were lightening their planes of four thousand pounds of bombs in a safe drop zone - that's safe as long as you're not Glenn Miller.

The logbook of RAF pilot Fred Shaw describes how they saw Glenn in his small kite (light aircraft) spiral out of control into the Channel to the tune of 'I'll never smile again'.

Archeologists have recently dived over the area and located the remains of a small aircraft within which they found a pair of wire framed spectacles, two pairs of trousers full of pooh, a trombone and an unexploded bomb.
