Yet again Britain is rightly considering the idea of allowing our murderers, rapists and criminal fraternity most of whom are the real victims in society, the right to vote in line with more liberal countries like Iran after the good people at the European Court of Human Rights gave the UK a telling off.Bearing in mind that our politicians are a bunch of snout in the trough robbing bastards I have decided to form my own political party, the ‘Let Every Prisoner Out’ party which I hope will get me at least 84,000 votes plus their loved ones and criminal families; that’s another 2 million.
Prisoners are after all humans, and they’re not in prison to punish them but to rehabilitate them. Just because they may have taken someone’s life or brutally raped and tortured someone does that mean that we should be so cruel as to deny them the right to vote Labour? Of course it doesn’t.

Well, I strongly agree that prison isn't about making those of us on the outside feel morally superior.
I mean, if we carried that argument through to conclusion and locked up everyone we each felt morally superior to then there wouldn't be anybody left outside... which is what we may be getting anyway with the dna database, id cards, cctv etc.
From there it's only a short step to extraordinary rendition, 42 day detention and 'guilty until proven innocent'.
If prison is all about rehabilitation then we may as well let the cons out now as most of them become better criminals as opposed to better citizens whilst inside.
