What with so much prevarication and scare mongering having been spewed out both in Copenhagen and on the BBC by idiots like Professor Iain Stewart this week, why can’t the rational amongst us have our own climate conference?Who says that an increase in global temperatures is a bad thing?
Who says we’re currently living in the perfect temperature range?
Who says that melting glaciers is necessarily a bad thing?
Who says that famine in Africa is due to anything other than too many people?
Who says all the productive land is used up?
Who says that 2 degree increase in sea temperatures will cause flooding in New York?
Who says that Portsmouth being flooded is a bad thing?
Who says that saying goodbye to the Maldives matters?
It has long ago been established that the amount of water on the planet never significantly changes; just where it’s being used (FACT). The glaciers are an untapped amount of water that the scare mongers feel should stay frozen even though a billion people lack access to clean water today (FACT) – who are these people representing?
When lacking a credible answer, simply resort to some old guff about New York being hit by a tsunami and golf streams moving which have been clearly proven by some spotty geek on an Amstrad Computer model so it must be true.
If the countries that are becoming more barren are the same ones that are producing more people, this is a simple case of too many people in the wrong place so slow down the breeding – it’s as obvious as that (FACT). African countries such as Rwanda have seen family sizes reduce to the European model after educating it’s women and this is reflected across the globe with less educated people producing the largest families (FACT).
The scare mongers claim that thirty to forty per cent of the world’s land surface is capable of producing food and it’s all used up, therefore only by increased productivity can the human race succeed. This of course is rubbish as soil sciences and water supply can and will convert millions of acres from non production to crop and livestock sustainable land when it becomes financially viable.
Ethiopia is so well off with productive land that they have some of the largest greenhouses in the world growing flowers for export – not food for it’s people (FACT). Give them the science, the infrastructure and education and let the Ethiopians do it for themselves with pride and with profit.
Where land truly is financially uneconomical to convert to food production such as in the hottest parts of Australia, cover the surface in solar panels - an area in which the Australians have excelled in recent years (FACT). If less than half a percent of the world’s deserts were covered in solar panels, the whole of Europe could be powered by the sun (FACT).
The oil rich Arabs are deliberately under-producing in excess of 5 million barrels of oil a day in order to starve the west, thus maintaining an inflated price (FACT). With Iraq’s oil fields coming on line in less than seven years, this stranglehold will ease however long before then Britain must move to more solar, wind and tidal power on a huge scale and stick two fingers up to the rich nimby folk looking to protect their view of a quaint hillock.
The current eighty five million barrels of oil used every day (FACT) is unsustainable yet looks to increase with the ever burgeoning populations of India and China. Only by skipping the ‘industrial revolution’ and helping the aforementioned in cash terms to ease back on the two coal fired power stations opening every week can we ease the stresses on the planet.
Carbon capturing CO2 within sandstone is great but not producing the CO2 is better. Forget the man made global warming bollocks, forget what other countries are doing and do your bit. Blaming others does no-one any good at all.
Bearing in mind that fire is one of the worst CO2 emitters, climate change demonstrators in Denmark setting fire to cars in the streets show what a bunch of dunderheads they really are.

This is one of the best things I've read online about Copenhagen, I think - and so not a rehash. You should not be blogging in a vacuum, Gideon Mack.
Hello J
Thank you for your comment.
What an absolute idiot.. You seriously don't understand the concept of anything you have tried to explain. Nice boy, Dull as hell.!
And clearly you have a better understanding of the concepts detailed yet not able to put it into words - naff comment, back it up or bugger off.
