Relatively well to do Leila Deen from the obnoxious ‘Plane Stupid’ demonstration gang lived up to form on Friday when she threw green custard in Lord Mandelson’s face. This anarchic act by Dean made me think – yes; we do need another runway at Heathrow; infact, another couple would be even better.We need to enlarge the dirty Heathrow hub and hey, while we’re at it, let’s change it’s appearance from a council built shit-hole to something people might mistakenly think we’re proud of.
More planes, more emissions and more business – everybody wins; if you believe the dimmers claiming that global warming is due to air travel (amongst other human activities) then we’ll also benefit from better summers and the ability to grow lemons.
Leila Deen fortunately appears to have plenty of money and obviously doesn’t rely on the airport for employment; as such she is calling for luddite measures to shrink air travel and doesn’t give a damn about those that do need the facility to stay alive, travel etc.
