LONDON AT RISK
So far eleven DC3 Dakota aircraft have managed successful food and fuel drops over the cut off capital – London, England.
London, isolated since Monday morning when it was hit with a record breaking four inches of snow remains dark, still and silent following the collapse of all utilities surrounding the capital.
The British Army is still trying to get through from Hammersmith however their repeated attempts have been thwarted by slippery footpaths and giant snowballs barricading roads.
The Royal Marines have reported eight wounded, all due to a lack of battle equipment. Seven men have been airlifted to Thetford specialising in cold ears; one man was flown to specsavers in Reading after getting a bit of rock salt in his eye.
Another ‘serious weather event’ is expected over the capital on Monday with a further two inches forecast. Ethiopia has offered it’s snow equipment on loan which is more robust than equipment in Britain and should ease the situation around April.

WELL DONE PIERRE
A big thank you to Pierre, Jean Paul, Luc and Marco, the four Froggie fishermen for starving Britain of goods over the last few days - that's not 'French' at all is it?
