The current overthrow attempt of the Turkish Government is picking up pace in the courts of the country. Anti democracy supporters keen to oust the European leaning incumbents kicked off their ‘Just Say No’ (to democracy) campaign with the murder of Hrant Dink, publicist, in January 2007.
Hrant Dink’s crime worthy of assassination was to mention his country’s massacre of the Armenian population in 1915 during World War 1; some refer to as a holocaust.
Turkish Nationalists (children of the Ottoman Empire) who are vociferously opposing the construction of a ‘Statue of Friendship’ toward the state of Armenia on the Turkish border, deny killing as many Armenians in WW1
