Reading Borough Council is actively funding heroin addiction and the anti social behaviour that goes with it.People troubled by constant abuse and mess caused by a growing number of addicts in the town were amazed to find out that the reason RBC were unhelpful and dismissive was because the council are paying the rents of the addicts (either directly or as Housing Benefit) even though they are fully aware of specific anti social behaviour by certain individuals.
When Thames Valley Police requested help from the council they were also told that as long as the rent is being paid, it wasn’t a council issue; even though it’s the council paying the rent.
Reading Borough Council is wantonly abusing the Human Rights of all those affected by their funding of heroin addicts in the community.
